Welcome to pdxbiryani.com, home of the Dum Biryani! We are not a typical restaurant although we do cook at a commercially licensed, fully equipped kitchen in downtown Portland, OR. That means, you need to pre-order and pick up from our locations on Fridays and Sundays to enjoy our awesome biryani! Why is it so? Our model gives us the freedom to focus our energies on making biryani, whether goat, chicken or vegetarian.
Dum Biryani Fans have been long tormented by the assault on good taste and wallets that is the 'restaurant biryani' which is why PDXBiryani is here, your refuge from curry and rice mixes in the name of biryani. We have been there, searching all over the U.S in vain, for good biryani. Nothing came close, so we took matters into our own hands and did some learning and hit upon our own unique take on the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani.
